The Man of the House
Jacob, current "Man of the House" has had a busy and exciting week. This has, of course, been his first week back at Cottonwood High School where he is junior. This year he has relinquished his seat on the school bus so that all of the Sophomores will have more room. His little 1994 Nissan Sentra allows him to arrive on time, if not in style.
Jake is having a difficult time moving some of his muscles right now. His class schedule includes "weight training", which has left him more than a little sore. We look to see a bigger and buffer Jake by Christmas. We expect great brain growth too with classes like Algebra II, Physics, English, US Studies, Spanish, Theater, and Seminary.
This past week, Jacob finished his last two merit badges. All he has left on the way to his Eagle is his Eagle Project. He hopes to complete that by the end of 2007.
Today, Jacob became gainfully employed. He will be working at Desert Star Theater in the pizza kitchen. He will be making pizzas, of course. How much better can that get, two of his favorites - pizza and theater - and he gets paid too!
